SPECIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
MARKET LAMB SHOW

1. All entries in this department will be subject to the General Rules and Regulations of the Wood County Jr. Livestock Show except where they conflict with these rules “Special Rules” in which case the “Special Rules” will prevail.

2. Exhibitors may show one wether.

3. Projects, Project Entry Forms and entry fee, with the sponsor information is due on the January 12, 2009 at the Quitman High School Ag Farm between 12 noon and 5 pm. 
4. All lamb entries must have a sponsor who has agreed to offer the first bid at the Wood Co. Jr. Livestock Show & Sale in the amount of $200.

5. Any animal judged unworthy or unruly by the sifting committee will not be permitted in the show and sale. The sponsor is released from all obligations.

6. Each entry will be weighed no more than twice. This weight will be the official weight for the record keeping and sale purposes, with a maximum of 175 pounds with a 5 pound scale tolerance.

7. All lambs will be judged for sale order following the conclusion of the lamb show.

8. There will be a re-sale of lambs for official buyers only.

9. All lambs will be sheared within ˝ inch at the time of weigh-in in between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM on Thursday.
