Wood County Junior Market Livestock Show Scholarship Rules

REQUIREMENTS

1. Applicant must validate a project in the Wood County Junior Market Livestock Show in April of the year they are to graduate to be eligible.
2. Grades used will be from the 5th six weeks grading period.
3. No financial data will be required of applicants.
4. Applicant may major in any field of study in college. This will not be limited to Agriculture or Ag-Related majors.
5. Applicant must attend two consecutive semesters of college and will receive scholarship money after proof of registration.
6. The number of Scholarships and amount awarded will be determined by the Wood County Junior Market Livestock Show Board Scholarship Committee.
7. The Scholarship will be presented to the recipient at their school’s graduation ceremonies in May.

 All scholarship applications must be postmarked by April 28, 2009 and mailed to Wood County Junior Livestock Show, P. O. Box 922, Mineola, Texas 75773
 
. All applicants who are awarded scholarships must send in copies of registration along with proof of payment of tuition and fees to P. O. Box 922, Mineola, Texas 75773. To receive scholarship funds for the 2nd semester, applicants must send in copies of registration, proof of payment of tuition and fees,  and copies of 1st semesters grades showing that the 1st semester was completed.
10 Applicants must go through an interview process.  Date and time for interview will be announced later.
11. Official name of scholarship is to be “Wood County Junior Market Livestock Show Scholarship”
